Good response time, easy to book appointment and clinician was professional and caring.
Originally I was a private patient with CARE back in December 2023, they were very quick and attentive throughout this process, and I started my titration period within a few months of the completed assessment. The medication has been an absolute life saver and has really helped me to get my symptoms under control. However after I finished titrating I found that my GP would not accept the shared care agreement. As the cost of my medication is not something I can continue to pay out of pocked privately, I asked my GP to refer me to CARE's RTC pathway as an NHS patient in November 2025. Since then progress and communication have been practically non existent. My referral was accepted, immediately there was an issue as I had apparently been set up as a brand new patient, but a couple of phone called smoothed that out. Then on December 23rd 2025 I was told that in an email "Care ADHD aims to contact patients to arrange an appointment around 10 weeks after onboarding" but that there was no set timescale they could provide me. On the 4th of March, I emailed asking if the delays could be to do with my surname having been updated on the NHS system and to see if I had forgotten any forms, I received a reply on the 16th telling me that I was on the list to be contacted about titration appointment and that there was nothing else I could do at this time. After that last communication, I stopped bothering to reach out and left it at that - All I've had since was an email at the start of April that presumably went out to people at a similar stage as myself saying it could be weeks till my titration appointment was booked in and a list of support centres & general advise. I feel very much stuck in limbo - Emailing or calling gets you nowhere as they have no timeframe they are able or willing to pass on. More consistent communication & updated timeframes would be fantastic and would likely go a long way at earning some good will and patience back from myself, but I can't see that coming from this company any time soon.
I think I was scare-mongered into not entering into this process for various reason.... BUT CARE ADHD were amazing. The turnaround was unbelievably fast. The service and communication were great. And everyone I spoke to was respectful and listened to what I had to say. Thank you CARE ADHD!
