My experience has been fairly average but generally positive. The trading conditions are clear, and the risk management framework is easy to understand. One of the reasons I chose URFX was because the risk management rules made sense to me as a trader. I've used prop firms before where the rules felt confusing, but the 6% trailing daily drawdown and 12% maximum overall drawdown were explained clearly from the beginning. On my $100,000 account, I knew exactly where my limits were and could build my strategy around them. Instead of encouraging reckless trading, the structure pushed me to focus on consistency and proper risk management. I started with a two-phase account and appreciated how straightforward the setup process was. After purchasing the account, I received access to all the rules and platform information without delays. I chose MetaTrader 5 because it's the platform I'm most comfortable with and everything worked smoothly from day one. As I progressed through the challenge, I actually became more disciplined because I was constantly aware of protecting my drawdown limits. Reaching the profit targets felt achievable because the objectives were clear and realistic. After passing both phases, moving into the funded stage was seamless. The profit split is attractive, and I also like the fact that successful traders can scale their accounts over time. Overall, URFX provided a structured environment that rewarded good trading habits rather than gambling.
