I accepted a car insurance quote on line and the payment remained as a pending payment on my credit card account for a number of days without any acknowledgement from Allianz. When I enquired of Allianz they said this pending payment had been ring fenced by my bank and if I reaccepted the quote the would release the pending payment back to my account. I did this and Allianz did in fact release this payment back to my account. The second payment again remained as a pending payment and no acknowledgement from Allianz. My bank tells me that it is for the payee to arrange for the pending payment to be drawn down. So I conclude that much of what I have been told is a load of bolony. Allianz decline to talk to me on the phone and it can only be that they are not admitting that there is a bug in their software system. I will now have to take out insurance elsewhere so if you are considering are insurance with Allianz have the best of luck,
