Great company to get gas electricity from,understanding,helpful,never had a problem with them.very happy customer.
Ordered and paid in full for an EV CHARGER and installation. Did the survey online with photos etc and everything was approved. Engineer turned up, had a look round then said he can’t install it as there was no gas earth bond that he could see. I asked why this wasn’t part of the initial survey if it was a key factor in the installation, like all the other photos I had to take, but he had no answer for me. Fast forward two weeks and two chases to Eon to get a re-installation date and it was booked in for the 8th jan with engineer Harry who would contact us with an arrival time. No contact, no communication until we chased at 2pm and was told Harry had cancelled the job so they had to reassign to another engineer, but “don’t worry they will be with us today”. Two hours later get a phone call that they ain’t coming and can come Monday which isn’t convenient for us. We said Thursday is all we can do. Was offered £50 for the inconvenience but refused as we had taken two days off work with no resolve, which is worth significantly more than £50. Not good service Eon, let’s see if it’s third time lucky, otherwise you will be refunding us in full. Definitely wouldn’t recommend their Ev installation service at this point. We should have gone with an independent.
Easy to arrange refund and paid within a reasonable time.
