GBGBI didn't actually taste them as they were a gift for a hospital team who cared for me recently. I am assured they were delicious and much appreciated as a lovely surprise. Also worth noting that the delivery was prompt, with up to date information on its progress. Communication is so important! As I live a little away from the hospital it was great that I could order them online. Next time I'm in Exeter I will pop in and say hello. Many thanks for your efficient help.
GBGBI was looking for a Christmas gift for my son in law who is said to enjoy baking! The two cake books formed the basis of a 'baking box' with the recommended pans, and various items of usefulness (my daughter enjoys cooking and they have an extensive range of cookery impedimenta), so these are some things, just for him, which will be presented in a large box on Christmas Day... The enthusiasm of these two business owners shines through, and I can't wait to sample some of their recipes. Shame we live so far away from the Café and Bakery!
