Real World Experience Review. FDR is a scam. They prey on people that need help with limited options. Reductions are real but they hide their fees to make you feel like you are winning. Real Example - $10,228 reduction with their fees of $9,768 = Real Reduction savings of just $460. After several months of making payments, the company will offer you a high interest loan to pay off your interest free payments. This is further proof the company will take advantage of you at any chance. There is no world where it makes sense to offer a high interest loan to pay off interest free payments. This company is not here to help you but gauge you and take advantage of your situation. Bottom line... do not work with this company. Look to settle your debts on your own. Its not hard and will save you on high fees. Research with google, use resources at your fingertips, but do not use this company unless of course you want to pay more and stay deep in debt.
Kindness , efficiency, and excelent customer service are the best description for that company.
FDR has done a great job settling All the debt I had accumulated over many years. With the last settlement complete a huge weight has lifted. I look forward to it All being closed out in no time!
I have to be honest here about this compnay. I signed up with freedom debt relief in March. It is now the ending of June and my credit is far worse than what I had anticipated. Although the representative was helpful and attentive, but this was all just a sales pitch. Freedom still has not provided information on when they contacted my creditors. Only one account has been settled out of 14. I know I have a lot of debt, but I put my faith and trust in this company which now I am second guessing if I made the right choice. One of my account is in negotiation. There are a few accounts that will be not negotiated until 2027!!!! Who does that??? I've done a consolidation years ago and it was never this bad at all!!! I did what they said on taking off the autopays on all my cards and called the creditors to let them know I have signed up with FDR. I have been emailed with both the creditor and FDR to be in contact with each other. Still nothing has moved in a way for me to get back on track. This is just a very bad waiting game and hurts more than it helps. I am deeply frustrated with how this has been handled.
