When is went last year a check up was £70 or so and included a check and a scale and polish. The company has changed ownership and now a check up is £60 and is literally a dentist looking at your teeth and doing a gum test. Thats it!! Any scale and polish is done by a hygienist now who you pay extra to see. So cannot say I will be going back.

Overall, the customer experience at this clinic (Swords) was very poor. Customers are handled, not helped, and the environment does not embrace diversity or inclusion. If you do not want to be restricted by a traditional conservative Irish culture, this is not the clinic for you. Months after booking, I received a call demanding a deposit that should have been taken at the time of booking. When I asked to check my bank records, the receptionist refused to listen, cut me off repeatedly, accused me of shouting, and hung up on me several times. I could not reach a manager, and the behaviour felt either like a scam or extremely unprofessional service. When the manager finally called, she listened but insisted customers must speak according to their internal “Irish culture” rules. Any small frustration is labelled as “shouting,” and unless you sound like a happy customer, you will not be heard. This explains the receptionist’s bullying behaviour—it was endorsed. There was no room for cultural diversity or understanding of second-language speakers. I was told to simply do what I was told, without even being allowed to verify my own bank records. Their priority seemed to be profit, not customer care. I cancelled my appointment and will not return. If you dislike being disrespected or mistreated, this is not a good clinic for your dental care—there will be no “smile” experience here.

Staff are lovely, really helpful and welcoming

I have been attending smiles dental clinic for about 8 years now, my dentist Dr Meena Durai is very talented very compassionate and very caring she is a very good dentist and i would really recommend her!! The receptionists are also great!
