Great service! Sonia is very helpful and highly professional. Totally recommend.
THE WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR. EVEN FEEL MORE SORRY FOR ITS CLIENTS WHO THEY MANAGED TO GET IN DEBT!!! . They fired me less than two months in during probation without any formal notice or warning. I had no idea this was coming…I felt alienated by the team right until the meeting and they sacked me without offering support or a performance improvement plan. Harsh. No wonder this company has so many people in debt now!. It’s sad really because I even contacted the directors for support during this time and did not even get a direct response back from them. FYI- Jeremy Brooke is or should I say was the CEO following the firm going into liquidation and Wesley Bower was one of directors along with Deborah. All of them let me down.
They are scammers, they will transfer you to Matbell telling you they are closing down and scam you
SSB Law are handling my Plevin Claim. I did not contact them. They contacted me. Explained what Plevin was and I went ahead on a no win no fee basis. Initially all was very good. Hence the two stars for that. As the claim went on I found that if I did not telephone, I had no idea where my claim was at. Every twelve weeks or so I would telephone. Eventually this turned to emailing them instead. There were a couple of occasions where I would receive a phone call back. On one of these occasions I asked realistically how much I should expect to receive as settlement. The response I got was somewhere in the region of £4,500 of which I could expect to receive around £2,250. Not bad I thought and continued to let it tick along. About six weeks ago I was told it had been handed over to the litigation department which meant the office side of things would no longer be dealing with it. Patrick was very nice and explained what stage we were at and that there was finally light at the end of the tunnel. Then today I received the phone call that was supposed to make the last 18 months worthwhile. An offer in settlement of my claim. Not anything near £4,500 or even £2,250…..No, the value of my claim being paid to me was…..£70! Been reward peanuts but they still took money out of the tiny amount I was awarded for their fee. Now while SSB Law can not be held accountable for the value of my claim. They can be held accountable for the amount that they estimated. Why tell me a figure as high as £4,500 when they actually did not have a clue until it reached the stage that I am currently at? I have probably spent half of that £70 in calls to their offices. I suffer with anxiety, depression and a chronic medical condition. The whole thing has left a very sour taste in my mouth. If I had known at the start that this could possibly be the outcome I may not have gone ahead or if when asked I was told it could be as low as £50 as high as £5,000, today would not have come as such a shock. My review may not address the complaints of others here but I do think that SSB Law should tell their staff to be mindful of what they tell clients, especially in the current cost of living crisis. I had several people in the office contacting me during these proceedings so cannot pinpoint the person who gave me the figures. It would be better if one person in the office dealt with a clients claim instead of a few. So as it stands I feel very upset and quite a bit angry. Since this review SSB Law have ceased to trade. I did receive the small amount due to myself via the firm of solicitors that took over my claim. ***The response from them left below is far from satisfactory too***
