Where do I start. This company is notorius for messing up billing. This will be twice now. I wont go through the first mess up. I will stick to the most recent, and more substantial mess up. My wife was there in March of 2023, for some dental work. She paid her out of pocket costs, up front, and the remaining should have been placed on our Dental Insurance. Come to find out 2 years later, that my wife was maxed out, at that time, on her Dental Insurance. Instead of doing the right thing, which would have been calling us, or sending something in the mail, to let us know, that we had an outstanding balance, Monarch Dental just decided to throw the bill in collections. We received a collection notice, in June of 2025, we then called Monarch Dental, and talked to Fran, who is in charge of billing. She decided to put the blame on a corporate mess up. We then called corporate, and the man apologized, and he said it was out of their hands, because it has already been sent to collections. He also said it was not corporates fault. We just ended up calling the collection agency, to pay the bill and the collection agency did remove it from my wifes report. If you ever get sent to collections from this company, which it looks like has happened multiple times to other people, just make sure you you take a screenshot of the payment you make, and get the Representatives name, from the Collection agency, so you have proof, to remove it from your credit report. Sorry if this review kind of rambles on, but I just wanted to give exact detailed information, if this happens to anyone else.

Thank you for an another amazing dental service experience. Very knowledgeable professionals. A Gift card is awaiting for me. hahaha.😁😁😁

The most horrible place do not go there. They don’t care about you, even when you’re in severe pain. They’re just taking advantage of your suffering.

Giving one star because it's not possible to give zero. I have been with Monarch for about 20+ years but was thinking it was time to change. My original appointment date was Oct 2, 2024 and I waited 45 minutes to be called for a cleaning, this has happened in the post and it's annoying. I politely said I had an issue and needed to leave and they asked if I wanted to reschedule (I accepted the new date); however, my intention was to find another dentist because I was fed up with Monarch because this wasn't the first time they kept me waiting long periods of time to be called back for service. I read reviews for other providers and they were horrible, overcharging for services not performed, etc. So I kept the appointment I was given since it was just a simple cleaning and the 6 months between cleaning would give me additional time to find a dentist closer to my home (I drive 30 minutes to this location). To my dismay, I was overcharged $200 on October 18th and they knew I was overcharged when they closed out their books on Friday, yet they continued with the processing of my card for the cleaning. I should have looked at my receipt when the receptionist gave it to me but I've never had a problem with being over charged by them before. Later that night (Oct 18) on my online banking app I saw the pending $217. I didn't get to call Monarch back until Wed, Oct 23, 2024 and the receptionist told me that they saw I was overcharged and they were waiting for me to call them to get my card number so the $200 can be refunded when the business manager returns to the office the following day. It has been 31 days and I still don't have a refund. I have called 7 times trying to get my $200 refund from Monarch Dental. I spoke to the regional or district manager, Mayra Nevarez on November 6th and she said she was working on it and would even let her manager know about it. The staff would tell me they will return my call with information about but they never return my call. One staff member, Nicole, said she would return my call and didn't;; and when I called back she said she didn't have any information from Mayra and that's why she didn't return my call. Today when I called Nicole said my refund is in "review" by corporate. What is it to review? The out of pocket for a cleaning is $17 based on my insurance plan, Monarch charged my credit card $217 - Monarch has $200 that doesn't belong to them, not something that takes long to review, especially since it's in the system regarding the services they provided and the amount I was charged. After reading the reviews from other providers I think this was intentional and Monarch is becoming an unreputable dental provider.
