AEG hob repair. Ignition had failed. Had to pay upfront. £139.00. Appointment cancelled three days before due date as ‘system’ had made an error! Engineer turned up on new date. Known fault apparently and a new control panel fitted - ignition sorted but I noticed a red light on timer was out - told it was fine and that it how it was now. Used two days later ignition works fine but hob indicator lights stay on for less than 10 seconds when lit, and dont stay on after turned off as a warning afterwards. Timer does not work, and one burner although lights does not light up control panel. Rubbish from start to finish!

The Service Engineer arrived within the time slot. Was very polite and clearly explained the work to be undertaken. The repair was carried out with no issues. I was also given practical advice for trouble free operation
